Zorua takes the spotlight during Pokémon GO’s October 2026 Community Day. Here are the event hours, bonuses, exclusive attack, Special Research, Field Research and extended Lure Module encounters.

Lure Modules will last for one hour and may attract Zorua. This Lure Module bonus is active from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day. This bonus is active from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
Spawns
Zorua will appear more frequently in the wild during the event.
Lucky Trainers may encounter Shiny Zorua or Zorua with a Special Background.
From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Zorua will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules. Zorua attracted this way will retain the increased Shiny chance and may have a Special Background.
Research
An optional US$1.99 Zorua Community Day Special Research ticket will be available. Rewards include three encounters with Zorua that have a Special Background, additional Zorua encounters, one Premium Battle Pass, one Rare Candy XL and more.
October Community Day–themed Field Research will reward Stardust, Ultra Balls, additional Zorua encounters and more. Lucky Trainers may find Field Research that leads to encounters with Zorua with a Special Background.
Check in to a Community Ambassador event to receive Timed Research featuring additional encounters with Zorua with a Special Background and other premium item rewards.
Features
Evolve Zorua during the event or up to four hours after it ends to obtain a Zoroark that knows the Fast Attack Sucker Punch.
The Community Day Ultra Box will be available in the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 or the equivalent local pricing tier and includes an event ticket plus five Ultra Balls.
Special Research tickets can be gifted to friends with whom you have reached Great Friends or higher, subject to the usual gifting restrictions.
Starting in January 2026, featured Community Day Pokémon can have a yearly Special Background.
