Staraptor Super Mega Raid Day 2026: Mega Staraptor

The Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Friday, September 18 at 5:00 p.m. PDT until Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. PDT.

Trainers can receive up to six free Raid Passes by spinning Gym Photo Discs. Staraptor caught from Super Mega Raids will have Mega Level 1 unlocked, and the chance of encountering Shiny Staraptor from Super Mega Raids will be increased.

Mega Staraptor makes its Pokémon GO debut in Super Mega Raids during this event. Lucky Trainers may encounter a Shiny Staraptor.

Super Mega Raids may only appear at certain Gyms. Trainers can use the official Pokémon GO Map to find possible Super Mega Raid locations and nearby community meetups.

Timed Research will be available during the event. Complete the research tasks to earn a Premium Battle Pass and an encounter with Gardevoir.

The Timed Research expires, so all tasks must be completed and rewards claimed before the event ends.

Mega Staraptor can reach the new Super Max Mega Level. A Pokémon must first reach the third Mega Level, Max, before progressing to Super Max. Progress toward Super Max requires participating in Mega Raids and using Mega Energy.

While Mega Evolved, Staraptor can use the additional Charged Attack Brave Bird+. In Trainer Battles it has 70 power and lowers the user’s Defense by three stages. In Raid Battles it has 150 power. Its power increases with Mega Level.

An optional US$4.99 event ticket grants up to 14 Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, an increased chance of Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles, 5,000 additional XP from Super Mega Raid Battles and 5,000 additional Stardust from Super Mega Raid Battles. These ticket bonuses are active from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

The Pokémon GO Web Store Ultra Ticket Box costs US$4.99 or the equivalent local price and includes the event ticket plus one bonus Premium Battle Pass at no additional cost.
