Pokémon GO City Safari Brisbane 2026: Spawns, Eggs & Bonuses

Event dates: September 26 and 27, 2026.

Event hours: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. AEST.

Location: Brisbane, Australia.

A one-day event ticket costs AU$17.00, including applicable taxes and fees. Event gameplay is available only on the date, time and location specified on the ticket.

Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Ticket holders will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.

Lure Modules, excluding Golden Lure Modules, activated during the event will last for four hours.

Up to five Special Trades can be made during the ticketed day while in Brisbane.

Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

Your buddy may find the City Safari–exclusive Tiny Compass souvenir.

Party Play duration will be extended to eight hours.

Special Pokémon will appear across Brisbane during the event, including Jigglypuff, Abra, Slowpoke, Totodile, Mareep, Marill, Hoppip, Unown B, Unown L, Unown M, Unown R, Stantler, Miltank, Wingull, Baltoy, Buizel, Lillipup, Petilil, Yamask, Gothita, Flabébé (Orange Flower), Binacle, Clauncher, Hawlucha, Mudbray, Oranguru, Komala and Flamigo.

Mudbray is currently appearing through Pokémon GO City Safari 2026 events and may become available worldwide at a later date.

Eligible Pokémon may also appear as Shiny Pokémon.

7 km Eggs obtained during the event can hatch Flabébé (Orange Flower), Hawlucha, Mudbray and Komala.

Eligible Pokémon may also hatch as Shiny Pokémon.

The optional Egg-thusiast add-on provides a 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance bonus when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.

Ticket-holding Trainers can complete City Safari–exclusive Special Research with Professor Willow.

Trainers will encounter Eevee wearing an explorer hat at the beginning of the Special Research.

Explorer Hat Eevee can be evolved into Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon or Sylveon while keeping its explorer hat. Each evolution requires 25 Eevee Candy.

If you are lucky, Explorer Hat Eevee may be Shiny.

The City Safari Stamp Rally replaces the previous event Timed Research.

Approach a participating PokéStop inside the City Safari gameplay area to receive your stamp sheet and begin the rally.

Collect up to eight stamps and receive an encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat for each stamp.

Participating PokéStops will be highlighted on Campfire and on a dedicated event map.

The City Safari Stamp Rally can be completed once per day during event hours.

Event-exclusive Field Research will be available throughout Brisbane during City Safari.

Complete Field Research tasks to learn more about and encounter Pokémon featured during the event.

The Raid Lover add-on costs AU$8.00.

Receive up to 12 free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.

Earn an additional 5,000 XP from completed raids.

Receive three additional Candy when catching Pokémon from five-star raids and Mega Raids.

Trainers level 31 and above will also receive one additional Candy XL when catching Pokémon from five-star raids and Mega Raids.

The Egg-thusiast add-on costs AU$8.00.

Eggs placed into Incubators during the event will require 1/2 the normal Hatch Distance.

Trainers will also receive 2× Hatch Stardust, 2× Hatch XP and 2× Hatch Candy.

The Extra Day add-on costs AU$12.00 and allows Trainers to enjoy event gameplay on both Saturday and Sunday after purchasing a ticket for one of the two days.

The additional day includes an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon, up to five Special Trades, 50% reduced Stardust trade costs and four-hour Lure Modules, excluding Golden Lure Modules.

Ticket add-ons are active on both event days. Trainers receive the City Safari Special Research only once.
