Features

Minior, the Meteor Pokémon, makes its Pokémon GO debut during the Minior Shower series.

Green Core Minior debuts during the Orionids meteor shower. Minior has seven possible core colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Different core colors will debut during future meteor showers.

Minior begins battles in Meteor Form. When its health falls below 50%, it changes form and exposes its core.

Meteor Form has higher Defense and lower Attack, while its exposed Core Form has higher Attack and lower Defense.

Initially, Minior can change forms only when battling Team GO Rocket, team leaders, or in the GO Battle League.

Minior will not be eligible for the 2027 Latin America International Championships.

Future Minior Showers are scheduled for the Leonids from November 14–19, 2026; Geminids from December 11–16, 2026; Eta Aquariids from May 3–8, 2027; Southern Delta Aquariids from July 28–August 2, 2027; and Perseids from August 10–15, 2027.
