Maschiff debuts through Eggs, Field Research and the GO Pass; evolution costs 50 Candy. Its Egg and research availability starts September 11 at 10:00.

Shiny hunting

Boosted shiny odds: Pidgey until September 11, 10:00; then Carvanha until the event ends. Shiny encounters are not guaranteed.

GO Pass bonuses

Rank 1: possible Mega Energy from catching Weedle, Pidgey, Houndour, Carvanha or their evolutions. Rank 15: double hatch Stardust; Deluxe also halves hatch distance for Eggs incubated during the event.

Mega progression and raids

Mega Beedrill and Mega Houndoom unlock Super Max progression after Max level, requiring Mega Energy. Their raids run September 8–15 and September 11–15, respectively.

Pass prices and deadline

The free pass has optional Deluxe upgrades: US$4.99, or US$6.99 with six ranks. Local prices vary. Claim unlocked rewards by September 16, 20:00 local time.
